In partnership with the Societe Generale Foundation since 2015, is a social factory for web developers, aiming to train isolated and underprivileged people in the digital careers of the future. Through this desire to make digital technology a driver for social and professional integration, is perfectly in line with Societe Generale’s values.

Frédéric Bardeau, the social entrepreneur

After graduating from Sciences Po Toulouse and Saint Cyr, Frédéric Bardeau went into cyber-consulting in 1997. After a few experiences in agencies, in 2003 he created Trilogicom, then co-founded Limite in 2010, a responsible communications agency specialising in general interest subjects. After writing his first book in 2011, “Anonymous, peuvent-ils changer le monde ?” (Anonymous, can they change the world?), he cofounded socially responsible company in 2013. Five years later, it is this company, which is now active in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, that earned him the 2017 Social Entrepreneur Award., a star pupil rewarded again

This edition of the Social Entrepreneur Award, presented every year for 11 years by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the Schwab Foundation to an “atypical entrepreneur”, combining social impact with economic challenges, crowned Yet another accolade for Frédéric Bardeau, who already won the first edition of La France S’Engage with his social company, which has been a member of the Ashoka network since 2015. BGC will help Frédéric Bardeau, through a strategic consulting mission, to scale-up and develop his organisation., digital as a lever for professional integration

Founded in 2013, is a network of schools offering free training to develop IT skills to underprivileged populations or those affected by the digital divide: women and young people without qualifications, jobseekers, people with disabilities or even refugees. With its network of 32 “factories” across the world, since its creation Simplon has trained over 1500 people through its different programmes. Several dozens of its training programmes, including Passerelle Numérique supported by the Societe Generale Foundation, have been awarded the label of the Grande Ecole du Numérique public interest grouping (GIP) established in 2015 by the government.
