This year’s first Selection Committee meeting for subsidy applications made to the Societe Generale Foundation was held on 3 March 2017. The Selection Committee chose to support four projects promoting integration or education through sport and culture as well as professional integration for people in difficulty.
Founded in 2013, The Maze is an organisation that helps the long-term unemployed return to work more quickly by improving their job applications and job-seeking skills.
The Mazers (the unemployed individuals supported by the organisation) benefit from a part-time subscription to partner co-working spaces, an expert HR sponsor and a digitalised coaching service (Jobmaker).
The Maze 2017- Lyon focuses on three actions:
- A part-time subscription to a co-working space offering an immersion among entrepreneurs to network and discover their world. This framework allows the beneficiaries to boost their efforts to search for a job.
- Sponsorship by an HR coach from 4 to 8 hours a month, providing unique and personalised career support up until a position has been secured.
- Access to a digital coaching programme to reveal one’s strengths and come up with a pitch and develop one’s network.
The association is calling on the Foundation to fund and support four groups of 20 Mazers in Lyon in 2017.
The Foundation is proud to support The Maze. We will tell you more about their fine work shortly!
