With a strong Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mission to promote sustainable development of our society, Societe Generale Global Solution Center, invests in high impact programs. In addition to promotion of education, Societe Generale Global Solution Center CSR focus has expanded to include women empowerment and environment sustainability.

On 24 November, Global Solution Center organized the 1st edition of its Annual CSR Conclave. The forum brought together its not-for-profit partners, students awardees from the Talent Scholarship Program, distinguished faculty members to have a close interaction with the executive committee members, senior leadership team, as well as employees from Global Solution Center. The Conclave aimed at not only showcasing Global Solution Center's achievements through its CSR programs and citizen committment, but also to recognize the work undertaken by its partners in social development.

Some of the partners were invited to set up stalls to showcase their work in areas of education, women empowerment and environment to the employees, in efforts to further strengten and broaden the Global Solution Center's citizen committment initiatives.

In order to make the Conclave meaningful for all attendees, a unique campaign - ‘Thank you for putting a Smile' was launched, where Global Solution Center sponsored a child's meal for an entire year on behalf of every employee who attended the Conclave. Over 233 employees enthusiastically attended and signed up for the campaign from across Bangalore and Chennai offices.

Opening the Conclave, Veronique Sani, CEO, Societe Generale Global Solution Center, spoke about the Corporate Citizenship principles and commitment towards social causes at the Group Level and Societe Generale Global Solution Center level.
