On Sunday 6 and Monday 7 November, 300 Societe Generale employees played alongside the Les Siècles orchestra to offer a unique experience for spectators in the Main Hall of the Paris Philharmonic.
Playing for Philharmonie de Paris is the fruit of a close collaboration between Les Siècles, their conductor François-Xavier Roth and Société Générale. This unique patronage scheme, which brings together employees of a major company and members of an orchestra through a shared passion for music, was set up in 2013. This year, Societe Generale has taken the adventure a step further by integrating fifty choristers from Cameroon and Morocco.
This event was also an opportunity for the Societe Generale Foundation to invite a hundred guests from their partner organisations to share this unique experience.
Agir pour l’école, Apprentis d’Auteuil, Ares, Care, Emmaüs Défi, Frateli, le Groupe SOS, Mozaik RH, Passerelles Numériques, Proxité, Simplon.co and SNC were all present.
So congratulations to our employee musicians and singers for this unforgettable evening, thank you for your commitment.
If you want to re-live or discover this unique event, don’t miss the upcoming broadcast on Radio Classique on Wednesday 23 November 2016 at 8 pm.
