On 25 June, over 300 children and representatives from Hans Andersen Club, Hong Kong Rugby Union Community Foundation (HKRUCF), Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children, ChickenSoup Foundation and Po Leung Kuk attended the Hong Kong Citizen Commitment Day at King's Park in Kowloon. With the aim to spend time with underprivileged children living in Hong Kong and share a fun day together, more than 20 colleagues from Societe Generale gave back to the communities that they live and work in. Yann Garnier, Head of Global Markets for Asia Pacific attended the event and took the opportunity to announce Societe Generale's three-year partnership with HKRUCF to promote education and integration of disadvantaged members in society through various projects and initiatives.

"Considering it was 35 degrees and 90% humidity, the kids had a great time with various games, activities and entertainment. Our objective was to give these kids a great day out and from their smiles – I think we achieved that. A big thank you to the volunteers for giving their time."  Warwick Jones, Hong Kong CSR Champion
