The week of the 6th of June abounded in further charitable actions in Warsaw. It started with a sale of cakes prepared by volunteers from GBIS and SGEF. The event attracted 90 gourmets whose donations amounted to PLN 1118. The funds will support project “Children with a Passion” of the Foundation United Way Poland aimed at education and integration of underprivileged children through sport and art.

The following three days were dedicated to readers. Books and records offered for the sale by 20 donors were then purchased by 50 buyers. The sale was attended by United Way representatives who were also selling bags with painting motives promoting the works of intellectually impaired artists. We have raised PLN 2075. The funds will support the Foundation’s project “Children with a Passion” and a programme intended to help social inclusion through art.

The week ended with an e-mail auction of five paintings prepared by intellectually impaired artists, charges of United Way Poland. The donation of PLN 1355 by four winners of the auction will support the Foundation’s programmes aimed at social inclusion through art.

In total, 153 staff took part in the event and PLN 4548 were collected for the charity United Way.
