On 18 June, as part of Citizen Commitment Time, Societe Generale employees in Luxembourg were invited to ride spinning bikes in support of the Special Olympics association. This association makes sport accessible to people with mental disabilities for their psychological and physical well-being, and to improve their inclusion into society.

This solidarity challenge was set in motion by Véronique de la Bachelerie in the town centre and Olivier Renault at the Central Plaza and with Jean Elia, Head of Sogelife Luxembourg.

Alone or as a team, the aim was to convert the kilometres covered into euros and raise funds for the association's projects. Two Fit Concept coaches were present to support and motivate our athletes. The employees rose to the challenge covering 1,000 km on their bikes, the equivalent of 3 times around Luxembourg's border!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in support of Special Olympics Luxembourg during CCT 2015!
