Founded in October 2011, Croix-Rouge Insertion is an offshoot of the French Red Cross that puts employment at the heart of the fight against precarity.

Included in the organisation's network are back-to-work structures that have the same values and the same ambition as the French Red Cross. By joining the Croix-Rouge Insertion network, following the example of Béarn Solidarité in 2012 (an integration company in the environmental sector), the structures gain access to the services offered by CRI.

Croix-Rouge Insertion assists establishments that support professional integration through business activity (SIAE) with their economic development and to improve the professional skills of their staff on inclusion programmes by:

  • developing an economic model to ensure that the schemes' activities are durable,
  • consolidating its integrated network and developing a common HR and management toolkit for all the various structures,
  • supporting the growth and development of the integrated structures,
  • continuing external growth by acquiring 3 new integrated structures (former French Red Cross back-to-work schemes),
  • professionalising the network by reinforcing the structures' management and training the employees on inclusion programmes and their supervisors (vocational training plan and trade skills acquisition plan).

Croix-Rouge Insertion therefore promotes the sharing of best practices with innovative programs and reinforces the links between various structures and public or private institutions.

The Foundation has supported the organisation since 2013, accompanying more than 700 employees on inclusion programs.
