The Emmaüs Défi association helps the less fortunate get back into the workforce. In order to continue to create new integration positions for disadvantaged social groups, Emmaüs Défi must increase its supply of items collected for bazaars at the Riquet and 104 locations.
With this in mind, the association created the Amistock donation and networking platform: don.emmaus-defi.org, for Parisians.
This new donation platform set up by Emmaüs Défi is one of the projects financed by Societe Generale employee fundraising, rousing to action over 20,000 employees throughout the world during the 2014 Citizen Commitment Games.
Become an Amistock!
Amistocks are volunteers (private individuals, association, retailers, institutions, companies...) who agree to set aside a space in their place of business for collecting their neighbourhood donations to Emmaüs Défi.
Everyone who donates through the platform can:
- become an Amistock;
- request that collections be picked up at their home;
- use the Amistock network to locate a charity drop-off location near their home for making donations (initiated for a pilot phase in the 17th district of Paris).
Emmaüs Défi organises the reconditioning and sale of collected products at its weekly bazaars.
