Happy New Year!
The start of this year is the right time to review an exceptional 2014 during which Societe Generale celebrated its 150th anniversary.
In 2014, the Group provided financial support for almost 100 projects focusing on professional integration in France and abroad.
In 2014, over 20,000 Group employees around the world took part in the Citizen Commitment Games, the sporting and charitable challenge organised for the 150th anniversary of Societe Generale, with a total of more than € 900,000 raised for the benefit of 60 partner associations.
In 2014, our employees also helped to run skills sponsorship programmes. Almost 300 mentors supported young people and jobseekers in their search for work. More than 80 employees took part in Pro Bono Days for the benefit of associations and 70 people were involved in the Financial Education Project sponsored by Societe Generale and the association CRESUS for young apprentices.
Cécile Jouenne-Lanne, member of the board of the Societe Generale Corporate Foundation for Solidarity and the whole team at the Foundation present you their very best wishes for 2015.
“2014 was a year for action, demonstrating the growing commitment of Societe Generale Group employees that we encourage on a daily basis through the activities supported by the Foundation.
Thank you for your commitment to us in 2014 and let’s get together again in 2015 to support new projects.”
