Every week, we highlight a partner association of the Société Générale Foundation for Solidarity.
The "Institut du Service Civique" is a privately funded association, founded after the establishment of the Service Civique volunteerism scheme, which allows young people aged between 16 and 25 to offer their assistance with a general interest mission in collaboration with a number of associations and authorities. This 6-12 month experience is open to all, regardless of academic qualifications: all you need is motivation.
The support offered to these young people by the Institute goes even further.
The Institut du Service Civique addresses volunteers working with the Service Civique who are recognised for their potential, the depth of their commitment and the relevance of their business plans for the future. It offers them the tools necessary to reveal their talents and allows them to access training, jobs and support networks in order to realise their potential and develop their business plans.
The Institute also targets schools and companies wishing to diversify their recruitment processes without compromising with regard to their demand for excellence, connecting them with a human and social adventure.
Since 2013, the support the Société Générale Foundation offers the Institut du Service Civique plays a key role in allowing young award recipients to develop their business plans successfully.
