On Wednesday 10 December at the La Défense towers, 99 children from the Apprentis d’Auteuil charity were welcomed to a very special event. There was tinsel, chocolate and a show, turning this afternoon into a magic moment for all the children, as well as our colleagues who had volunteered to organise the event.
On the menu for this enchanted afternoon: a musical based on the tale of Puss in Boots, a snack, and party games.
Laughter and festivity echoed through the Societe Generale towers during this interlude of a few hours, when Societe Generale was all about the children.
Apprentis d’Auteuil has nearly 150 years of experience with disadvantaged young people. A Foundation recognised as being “of public value” since 1929, Apprentis d’Auteuil educates and trains over 14,000 disadvantaged young people, helping them integrate with society as responsible adults, while also supporting their families in educating them. One commitment: to welcome any young person, boy or girl, who is experiencing serious difficulty at school, in society, at home, or who risks exclusion.
