Every week, we highlight a Societe Generale Corporate Foundation for Solidarity partner charity.

The association Amis de l'Ecole Spéciale was created to support the Ecole Spéciale de Brazzaville, a free school for children with disabilities or severe educational delays founded in 1975.

The association raises funds in France and sends the money to Brazzaville to cover the school's largest expense: teacher salaries.

Thanks to the Societe Generale Foundation, the Ecole Spéciale de Brazzaville was able to purchase a generator so it could run all of its equipment simultaneously.

The training workshops were seriously affected by the power cuts and blackouts which regularly occur in the neighbourhood and caused delays to both the training courses and orders.
