Every week, we highlight a Societe Generale Foundation for Solidarity partner charity.

The association Femmes pour le Dire, Femmes pour Agir (FDFA) was founded in April 2003 on the initiative of Maudy Piot, successively a nurse, a physiotherapist and a psychologist. The association’s main aim is to fight against the double discrimination facing women with disabilities.

Femmes pour le Dire, Femmes pour Agir aims to achieve this goal through a number of actions, in particular attending and taking part in forums, seminars and conferences on subjects ranging from violence against women to gender equality. FDFA seeks to raise awareness of these issues among different stakeholders: public institutions, companies and individuals.

The Societe Generale Corporate Foundation has helped Femmes pour le Dire, Femmes pour Agir since 2014 to maintain and enhance its workshops on employment for disabled women, which help them return to work and rejoin society.

This week, the association decided to take part in a Pro Bono initiative. Over the course of a day, Societe Generale employees will contribute their expertise and experience to suggest ways to retain Femmes pour le Dire, Femmes pour Agir volunteers.
