Pass pour l’Emploi (Job Pass), created six years ago by Societe Generale in partnership with ADAPT (Association for the social and professional integration of disabled people), took place on Thursday March 20 2014. It brought together disabled jobseekers and students on the esplanade of La Défense in Paris. The goal of this day is to work together to improve the employability of people with disabilities. To this end, different debates and workshops were held throughout the day.

 

Round tables on training for disabled people

 

Pass Pour l’Emploi 2014 welcomed several players from the world of employment alongside representatives of people with disabilities to discuss one subject in particular: training for people with disabilities. This year, the two debates centred on two problems: The dynamic between different players in society to compensate for disabled peoples’ lack of qualifications, and an overview of initiatives (from micro-actions to large-scale measures) aimed at boosting disabled people’s employability.

 

Hands-on workshops for participants

 

Two workshops dealing with methodology and coaching were specially designed for the event; to give participants the keys to success on D-Day. From writing a CV to interview practice, advisors were on hand to help all the visitors!

 

Many Societe Generale employees got involved in 2013 to accompany, guide, and advise visitors. Their participation, and willingness to help, played an invaluable role in the event’s success.
