The Special Olympics race will be held at lunchtime on 27 May on the La Défense esplanade. This inter-firm relay is being organised by Talents & Partage, the charity run by current and former Group staff, on behalf of Special Olympics, whose goal is to collect funds to develop sport for children who are mentally disabled. Teams can register from 11 February onwards in the exhibition area on the ground floor of Granite tower at La Défense between 11.30am and 2pm.
The Bike Ride will leave from the La Défense esplanade on 29 May. The cyclists will arrive in London on 31 May, and the sponsorship money they raise will help charities supported by the Societe Generale Foundation for Solidarity. For those of you who would like to find out more about this Bike Ride, a launch meeting will be held in the Chassagne-Alicante auditorium on 20 March.
From 27 May to 7 June, the Citizen Commitment Awards will enable you to vote for your favourite corporate citizenship project out of all those supported by the Foundation and involving members of staff.
If you are a member of staff based in the UK or in Brazil, please note that your CCW will take place from 3 to 7 June.
