Every week, we focus on one of the Societe Generale Foundation for Solidarity's partner associations

LES AMIS DE KANTCHARI ("FRIENDS OF KANTCHARI")

The primary objective of the association “Les Amis de Kantchari” is to develop education in the rural commune of Kantchari in Burkina Faso.

This commune of 30 villages has a population of roughly 60,000 people. It is located in the east of the country, one of the least developed areas of Burkina where only one child in two attends school.

Combatting illiteracy and improving education to encourage access to employment
