A commitment to scale up innovative initiatives
Amongst the successful associations, many of them obtained support for their spin-off or development project. This was the case for Positive Planet France, Proxité, Rev’Elles, Association Nationale des Groupements de Créateurs (ANGC) and Association Comptoir de la Voûte, which are now operating in new regions. Thanks to the Foundation’s support, many associations are also able to trial new projects, such as Groupe SOS Jeunesse, which is launching its Les Bons Profils programme, PLAY International which is entering the 3rd phase of its ‘La Playdagogie au service du Vivre ensemble’ project, and La Cloche, which is opening La Cloche à Biscuits in Lille.
Amongst these development projects, three are managed by new partner associations:
Continued support for professional training
The Foundation reiterated its support for associations offering training or entrepreneurship projects, such as Aurore, IECD, Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) and Entreprendre pour Apprendre. Many international associations were selected: Association pour le Développement Economique et Social en Afrique in Burkina Faso, the Russian charity Nochlezhka and Rouge Beauté in Madagascar.
It also chose four new partner projects in this field:
- The Digital Inclusion Project by Konexio, a digital school aimed at refugees and marginalised people;
- ‘Premier Service’, a hospitality and catering-based integration centre for vulnerable or disabled young people, set up by Fondation OVE;
- Gribouilli, an Ile-de-France childminding association which offers early childhood training and vocational activities for women with few qualifications.
A common theme: integration, in all its forms
Continuing its commitment to integration - particularly through education - the Foundation reiterated its support for Myfuture, Crésus, and Capital Filles, as well as several associations which use sport or culture as a means of integration, such as Fondation Culturespaces, the UK association Street League and the Brazilian association Rugby para todos. It has also chosen to support mentoring and jobseeking guidance programmes managed by Union Cepiere Robert Monnier (UCRM), Kodiko and La Cravate Solidaire.
The Foundation also welcomed four new partners committed to education-based integration:
