In detail

For 35 years, the organisation ADALEA has supported "the most vulnerable people" on a daily basis.
The charity comprises 4 divisions in response to the difficulties of 6,500 people who we receive each year: healthcare, accommodation, training, employment etc.

The employment training division enables those who are looking for a job, some of whom do not master basic know-how, to work on their career plans and to solve the difficulties surrounding employment.

The Integration Workshops division employs 48 employees on subsidised contracts to enable them to reconnect with the world of employment and to integrate sustainably with suitable social support.

The Listening and Social Watch division is a place for discussion and listening for those who need it but also offers very targeted responses to women who are the victims of domestic and family violence.

The Housing Accommodation division also provides people who encounter difficulties in living independently with support, and women who are the victims of domestic violence with suitable, secure accommodation.

History of partnership

The Societe Generale Foundation has supported the organisation since 2014 with its solidarity driving school initiative. The aim of this initiative is to enable people with learning disabilities and/or financial difficulties to get a driving licence with its adapted approach and teaching method. In rural areas, mobility is one of the main obstacles to social and professional integration, the solidarity driving school initiative is therefore an effective solution which meets the needs of a certain number of beneficiaries.
